Which arrhythmias can the Coala system indicate?

Created by Anna S, Modified on Tue, 20 Oct at 1:13 PM by Anna S

Coala’s algorithms automatically detect atrial fibrillation and other common arrhythmias. With very high sensitivity, the analysis is a reliable aid for identifying abnormal ECGs that need clinical assessment.

Chest and thumb ECG with P-wave detection
Coala combines a chest ECG and a thumb ECG with P-wave detection. This improves specificity, which means fewer false positive results.

False positives are common with thumb-only ECG, because the P-wave is often too weak to see clearly or for automatic algorithms to detect.
