Who interprets the ECGs?

Your healthcare staff interpret the ECGs. Coala supports the work, but the clinical assessment and any diagnosis are always made by you.

How it works

  1. The patient takes a recording at home with the Coala Heart Monitor.
  2. Coala’s algorithms analyze the ECG automatically and indicate possible arrhythmias.
  3. The recording appears in the Coala Care Portal, together with the automatic analysis.
  4. Your staff review and interpret the ECG and decide on any further action.

Automatic analysis as decision support
The automatic analysis helps you prioritize. Recordings that may need attention can be flagged, so the staff can focus on the ECGs that need a clinical assessment. The algorithm does not replace a clinician’s interpretation.
