How can Coala be used in healthcare?

Coala makes it possible to monitor patients' heart rhythm remotely. The patient measures at home with their device, and the results are available to you in a secure web portal. This reduces the need for physical visits and makes it easier to detect intermittent arrhythmias.

Coala's system consists of 3 parts:

- Coala Heart Monitor

With Coala Heart Monitor and a smartphone, an ECG measurement and recording of heart sounds is performed in just 60 seconds. Results are displayed directly in the app.

- Coala Care App

Coala's app is downloaded by the patient via their smartphone from the Apple App Store or Google Play. The monitor connects wirelessly via Bluetooth to the patient's smartphone. In Coala's app, the patient starts their recordings and follows instructions for performing the measurement.

- Coala Care Portal

Healthcare staff are given the opportunity to communicate with, and manage patients, as well as to analyze and interpret measurements of chest and thumb ECG. The portal gives the user a quick overview of the latest incoming ECG recordings.
