What should I do if my result is abnormal?

An abnormal result does not necessarily mean that something is wrong, but it should always be followed up. We recommend that you:

  1. Repeat the recording to make sure the result is accurate.
  2. Contact your healthcare provider if the result is still abnormal or unclear, or if you are worried. You can download your ECGs as PDF files to show your doctor.

In an emergency – for example, if you have chest pain, shortness of breath or feel faint – call 112 immediately. Do not rely on the Coala Heart Monitor in an emergency.
